Description

This scenic course is set against the backdrop of the San Tan Mountains, and winds through hundreds of trees, including citrus, pines, ironwoods, oaks, evergreen elms, jacarandas, cottonwoods, as well as native grasses and wildflowers. The course, which tribune writer Bill Huffman called "top-notch" provides the perfect balance of challenge and fair play. Depending on the tees, course yardage ranges from 7,015 to 5,350, with greens averaging about 6,900 square feet. The spectacular practice facilities offers more than 25,000 square feet of practice putting surfaces. The course's signature stretch begines on the 16th hole, a short par-4 which features a water hazard down the entire right side. For sheer drama, nothing can equal the island green on the par-3 17th hole. Director of Golf, Todd Weiand notes, "Don't miss the green, or you'll get another chance from the same spot!" The 18th hole is a par-5 (green shown on the left) that gives stonger hitters an opportunity to hit the green in two. A perfect risk-reward hole to finish off a great match.

There has never been a doubt, Seville Golf & Country Club, a private golf community in southeast Gilbert, offers one of the best golf course and club experiences in Phoenix.Opened in April 2004 and just over 30,000 square feet, the clubhouse is vast but intimate, employing travertine tile, 50-foot bell towers, large arching entryways and expansive terraces that create cozy sitting areas and festive gathering places. Adjacent to the women's locker room is a lounging area with card tables, overstuffed furniture, and a telvision and wet bar area. The men's locker room opens up to the Men's Lounge which contains card tables, televisions and a bar.This incredible complex features an amazing number of activities for you and your family to enjoy.
