Description

With more sunny days than almost any other area of the country, it makes sense that people looking for some of the best golf and active lifestyle flock to the Valley of the Sun. The area is home to hundreds of beautiful golf courses, and many communities have embraced the sport as their social centers. One of these areas is Sun City West, an all-adult community located in the northwest part of the valley with a population of approximately 29,000. You will find a total of nine golf courses within the Sun City West limits. Most would agree that the jewel of the community is Briarwood Country Club.

Golfing at Briarwood Country Club is something of a dream. The club does about 36,000 rounds of golf per year, where most other local clubs do between 70,000 and 90,000 rounds each year. This means that playing a round of golf is simple for members - in fact, Briarwood plays only foursomes and Proprietary members have access at will. Most members have their own golf carts, which gives them the ability to play as many holes as they would like at virtually any time.

Amenities

Briarwood Country Club offers an outdoor swimming pool with ample sunning deck. The pool area also includes a lockers, shower facilities, and the ability to order snacks and light lunches from our Grill Room. In addition, we offer three beautiful tennis courts.
