Description

Rio Verde, Arizona private golf course has two 18-hole courses, Quail Run and White Wing, offering traditional parkland-style golf with nearly eight linear miles of pristine fairways and views of mountains around every corner. Beautiful homes line this Arizona private golf course and add to the setting with their desert-style landscaping. The first Arizona private golf course opened here in 1973 and later became part of a country club and housing development founded by John Mooty.

During the early 1980s, the original golf course was expanded into two separate golf courses, with renovations and additions done by the famed designer pair of Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin, known for creating wonderful golf courses in Arizona. The golf clubhouse was remodeled and expanded to 27,000 square feet in 1997.Members at Rio Verde Country Club are part of a warm and friendly Arizona golfing community that offers one of this state's most unique lifestyles. Our Arizona golfing community is a serene paradise on the fringes of the Tonto National Forest.

The golfing community is built around two jewel-like classic courses – Quail Run and White Wing – with mountain and forest views. Visitors here feel far, far away from the traffic jams and sprawling subdivisions in the Phoenix area. Yet Rio Verde, Arizona golfing community is just 15 to 20 minutes away from the amenities of Scottsdale and Fountain Hills. Our Arizona golfing community has two unique courses, designed by Jeff Hardin and Greg Nash, known for their outstanding work throughout Arizona. These layouts at Rio Verde have a traditional parkland feeling with gently rolling fairways, well-placed bunkers and some water to cross as well.
