Description

The course is nationally known and was named the "Best New Course of the Year" by Golf Digest in 1989. It was included in "America's Greatest 100 Courses" by Golf Digest in 1995 and the "Top 10 Courses in Kansas" by Golf Digest in 1999. Shadow Glen has been ranked in the Top 5 Courses in Kansas every year since its opening and in Golf Digest's March 2000 issue, Hole #13, was chosen as one of America's best 18 holes. Also included in the amenities is a Howard Nearing designed 22,000 square foot clubhouse and extensive practice area. Private rooms are available for every size of event from small, casual luncheons to large, formal banquets and the menus offer a wide range of cuisine. The clubhouse setting takes full advantage of the terrain, offering lovely views of the course from its lofty perch which includes overlooking the 65 acre Shadow Glen Lake.
