Description

The greatness of a private club is defined by its membership. A world class golf course, personal service, and luxurious facilities lack character without the camaraderie and chemistry built from of a membership of like minds, stature and passion.

The membership is the single greatest factor in shaping the history and tradition of a private club and sustaining it's growth through the years. Upper Montclair is blessed with one of the richest traditions in the area; from Jerome Travers to the members of present day, membership at Upper Montclair is truly something to take pride in.

UMCC Members proudly boast of their 27-hole Championship golf course. Any combination of the East, South or West 'Nines' provides for a challenging test of golf. The par 72 course provides yardage from the back tees totaling 6,800 yards with a slope rating of 138. Upper Montclair Country Club offers a true golf experience. The rich history dating back to 1901 is complemented by the welcoming Membership and their Championship course. In addition, the exceptional dining and social events as well as the many family activities held throughout the year establishes Upper Montclair Country Club as one of the premier golf clubs in the area.
