Description

The Hammock Bay championship golf course has been heralded as one of the most unique courses in Southwest Florida. The 18-hole course, designed by PGA Professionals, Peter Jacobson and Jim Hardy, is a mix of beauty and challenge. The 6,912-yard, par-72 layout features native flowers and plants, with the lush sea dwarf Paspalum turf for superior playability. This special variety of turfgrass is rich in color, and provides for excellent year round playing surface. Its upright nature allows for the ball to sit up in the fairway, making it easier for mid-iron and fairway shots. The grass also delivers a tight knit and virtually no grain.

Amenities

Hammock Bay has a two-story Sports Club with a host of amenities to fit everyone’s lifestyle. Work out in style in our state-of-the-art Fitness Center, or luxuriate with a message in our spa treatment rooms, or relax with a refreshing drink and lunch at the poolside Tiki Bar.

The layout of the Sports Club is inspired from a first-class resort complete with indoor dining, outdoor Tiki Bar, and tropical lagoon-style pool. The Golf and Tennis Pro Shop is fully stocked with professionally picked sports wear and gear.

Tennis has three immaculately groomed and light Har-Tu tennis courts and a Tennis Pro on staff to help develop your game.
