Description

The Golf Club of Tennessee is a private golf club open from mid-March to mid-December each year and is located just west of Nashville. The Golf Club was established to enable its members to enjoy golf as it should be played; without tee times, delays, or distractions in an exceptionally maintained environment of seclusion and exclusivity.

Widely-acclaimed as today's best golf course architect, Tom Fazio fashioned a golfing masterpiece on 317 acres of Tennessee's most beautiful rolling land, in a wonderfully quiet, pastoral setting that is isolated from the busy world and enhanced by the singing of birds, the cascading of waterfalls, and the occasional crossing of a fox or deer. Featuring zoysia tees and fairways and bent grass greens, the 6,925 yard, par 71 course sprawls over nearly twice the acreage of a traditional 18-hole course. Fazio used all of the elements of design excellence - with holes that are both strategic and penal, subtlety difficult yet player friendly, and memorable but not contrived.

Amenities

The course is complemented by a beautiful and fully-functional 31,000-square foot clubhouse, which includes a five-bedroom suite for use by members and their guests. Native stone, board, and batten construction create a distinctive, yet comfortable ambiance. Large porches overlook the challenging 10th and 18th holes.
