Description

Bear Creek is a private club, and is member owned and operated. Architect Rees Jones, who designed our original course, has completed a major redesign. In addition, the clubhouse recently has been redecorated. Play amidst spectacular wildlife on a course designed for both carts and walking. The 6804 yard course is considered challenging because of the tight fairways that wind through Hilton Head Plantation's many pines and lagoons. It is maintained in top condition made easier because it has about half the play of other island courses. The fairways are 419 Tifway Bermuda and the newly renovated greens have state of the art super dwarf TifEagle Bermuda, the best available for the local weather and water conditions.
