Description

Located just minutes from the State Capitol Building, Capital City Country Club is nestled in the large oaks and pines of the Myers Park Historic District. The 6,502 yardage moves through the trees and across large elevation changes more commonly found outside of Florida. Bermuda grass fairways with Tift Dwarf Bermuda putting surfaces create challenges for golfers of all ability levels. The par 72 layout was designed in 1920 and was recently renovated in the early 1990's. Nine holes of the original design was done by famed golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast who designed such American classics as Winged Foot and Medinah.

Amenities

Tennis buffs will be delighted with our outstanding facilities. Three Har-Tru Rubico (hard) and two Laykold (clay) courts are lighted for night play.

The Tennis Pro Shop is also stocked with outstanding equipment and accessories and our two USPTA teaching professionals will help you improve on or get started in the game of a lifetime.

Dining at Capital City Country Club is a gourmets heaven. Our talented chefs can create everything from culinary masterpieces to the best BBQ in the city! Banquets and receptions for up to 450 people can be accommodated in our elegant ballrooms with Southern ambiance. During the summer, our Olympic size pool and children's wading pool keeps the members cool and 19th Hole Grille cooks and waitstaff hopping!
