Description

With two 18-hole championship courses, Riverside and Chanticleer, and a nine-hole Par 3 course, The Pines Nine, the Greenville Country Club is a year-round golfer's delight. Featuring more holes than any other area facility, the Club offers a maximum of flexible opportunities to play in uncrowded conditions.

The Chanticleer Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, has been rated by Golf Digest as one of America’s Top 100 Courses since 1979. This 6,688-yard par 72 layout is privately situated separately from the rest of the club as a golf-only facility. The course offers one of the most beautiful and challenging golf opportunities available anywhere.’ Rolling fairways, towering hardwoods and pines, pure white sand, gently flowing creeks, and some of the most challenging greens in the nation combine to make Chanticleer one of the most memorable experiences in the U.S. for even the best golfers.
The Riverside Course, originally designed by Donald Ross' firm in 1923 and redesigned by George Cobb in 1962, weaves along the Reedy River and adjoins the club's main facilities. This course is slightly more forgiving than Chanticleer and is enjoyed by both low and high handicappers.Tucked neatly within the Riverside Course is the Pines Nine, a nine-hole Par 3 course. The Pines Nine, a nine-hole Par 3 course, provides a great place to practice your short game or to play with family members who are learning the game.
