Description

Colonia Country Club is a golf purist’s dream. It’s a 106-year-old golf course where par is a sacred score, even on the calmest days. There are no tricks, and no overabundance of anything—water, trees, or sand—and for this reason, Colonia stands proudly alongside the other dozen pre-1900 architectural masterpieces in the state.
It is a mighty mite—a formidable foe of just 6,380 yards. But what it lacks in length, it makes up for in intrigue.

Amenities

As much as the members at Colonia Country Club cherish tradition, the 2001-02 renovation of its 40-year-old clubhouse had been a long time coming. The 20,000-square foot clubhouse is home to a formal dining room which provides a grand setting for up to 275 for receptions and functions, a casual grill, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a fitness center, a sauna, a card room, and a barber shop. Colonia also features a driving range, a chipping green with sand bunkers, a separate putting green, a halfway house, and an Olympic-sized pool.
